中國國民黨立法院黨團首席副書記長李貴敏上午召開記者會說，前國安會秘書長蘇起曾經寫過文章指出，九二共識是為了前總統陳水扁擔心兩岸之間有變，把「九二共識，一中各表」這樣國際皆知的原則用「九二共識」這樣的名稱一語帶過，因此九二共識這個名詞本身就含有一中各表的意義。
李貴敏說，蔡英文主張要「維持現狀」，這到底是什麼意思，希望說清楚講明白。
前立委邱毅說，九二共識舉世皆知，是兩岸在1992年的口頭承諾最後形成共識，共識的內容是兩岸對「一中」內涵、解釋各有不同。但研究國際談判的蔡英文怎麼會不了解？蔡英文應該為這幾天的胡言亂語道歉；並明確表態是否支持九二共識、對自己過去參與的兩國論看法又是如何。
民進黨籍立委蔡煌瑯說，蔡英文的「維持現狀」就是維持2300萬台灣人民的選擇權、台灣自由與民主的現狀、兩岸和平現狀。反之，國民黨所說的「九二共識、一中各表」請中國國家主席習近平講清楚對外說明，假如有，台灣內部趕快凝聚台灣共識，假如沒有，民進黨絕對不接受這種矮化主權與國格的「九二共識」。1041110
